More fishing photos

Seriously, who knew that $12.99 at Meier would be some of the best money we ever spent? The last time we grocery shopped there, I decided to pick up two kid's fishing poles for the boys - Nathan's is Batman and Caleb's is Cars. Super cheap. I thought we could fool around at the little lake by the park near home and once we got the hang of it, we could do some real fishing. The boys were so excited and kept bugging us to go. We finally headed there on Saturday night, Daddy, dog and boys in tow. We had such an incredible time!! It is a good reminder that we don't need expensive toys or trips but it's really just the time we spend playing together that makes some of the best memories.
Well, on second thought, it's all fun and games, until someone puts an eye out. :)

Oh, if only :)........

LEARNING TO BE REAL

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. Ralph Waldo Emerson

2009 LIFE VERSE

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12: 1-3
