I have my work cut out for me

Last night was the 2nd night we sent to Caleb to bed without a pacifier. He's four - it's time and we told him that before his 4th birthday but have been lax about the follow through. Then he started pooping in his pants after months of perfect potty. We told him if he pooped in his pants again, the "cork" would go....you guessed, he did...it went. Scott put him to bed last night and when I went to check on him, I found his door locked. Not a good sign. I unlocked it and peeked in to find that he was sleeping peacefully with a cork in his mouth. Yup, he had a hidden cork, for parenting emergencies such as these. He's FOUR! I'm in trouble.

LEARNING TO BE REAL

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. Ralph Waldo Emerson

2009 LIFE VERSE

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12: 1-3
